Rehearsals resumed on Monday 9th September for our Winter concert, which features JS Bach's fabulous and rarely performed Christmas Oratorio.
The work, written in 1734, is divided into six cantatas, each relating to a different part of the Christmas story. We will be singing Part 1 - the Birth of Jesus, Part 2 - the annunciation to the shepherds, Part 3 - the adoration of the shepherds, and Part 4 - the adoration of the magi..
Saturday 16th November at St James the Great Church, Dursley. Please note the slightly earlier than usual start time of 7pm.
